Today, I will tell you how to prepare your space for a virtual tour photo shoot.
You have scheduled a photo shoot of your space with a photographer. It is obvious that you should clean the room that will be photographed, but are you sure you have remembered all the details?
It goes without saying that the virtual tour and photos of your space will be your company's showcase, and you want to put your best foot forward so that your potential customer visits the venue in real life. In a virtual tour, we see the image without the limitations of a standard frame. That is why nothing will escape our attention, not even the smallest detail or a slight scratch on the wall. Of course, let's not go crazy. It's not about quickly painting and plastering the walls right now, but about making sure your potential customer sees that your space is neat and well-maintained.
Fotograf zawsze może wyretuszować jakąś niedoskonałość na którą klient nie ma w danym momencie wpływu np. pomazana ściana, grafiti przed lokalem,
But remember - the photographer won't retouch your laziness! That's why both we and you will work better, and the result will be much better, if you clean up well and prepare your room for the photo shoot.
What do you need to do before the photographer arrives?
1. Vacuum and wash floors or carpets
2. Dust the surfaces
3. Wash the windows - dirty glass is visible mainly against the sun
4. Clean the mirrors and the shower cabin if we are taking photos of an apartment for rent or sale

5. Wash curtains, tablecloths, bedding, and towels that will be in the space during the shoot.

6. If possible, remove stains from the walls

7. Wash company cars

8. Remove seasonal decorations, e.g., a Christmas tree, holiday lights, etc. Unless we want the shoot to be strictly festive.

What to do to make our space more pleasing to the eye?
- remove unnecessary items from view
- add items to the space that you want to showcase, e.g., your signature product, or in the case of a restaurant, the chef's signature dish or a decorated table with a glass of wine.
- put fresh flowers in the room - they warm up the image of the space and add color to your interior
Let's move on to lighting. Light in the space is very important. Thanks to good lighting, the photos will look more attractive. Therefore, check and inform the photographer at what times the best daylight enters your space. It is during these hours that you should schedule the photo shoot!
Check if all light bulbs are working and, if you want, add more atmosphere to your room with additional lighting. Do you have a lot of lighting, neon signs, or a venue that comes alive at night, and you are wondering if it is possible to do a Virtual Tour photo shoot at night? Of course you can!
I hope that now you know what to do to make your space look great in photos. If you have any questions, we are here to help!
